Transportation is built into the timeframes and prices listed below.  Transportation will be provided for all tours.  Activity Registration will close on July 21st.  After this date no refunds will be granted.  

 

Tuesday, August 1

Optional Group Activity: Cheyenne Mountain Resort Lake/Pool Day!

• Time: 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Description: Come Hang by the Lake or pool! Make sandcastles, play beach volleyball, or go boating on the resort’s 35-acre lake. Using boats is included in the stay of all resort guests! The Resort has everything from sailboats, kayaks, and pedal boats.

Wednesday, August 2

Optional Group Activity: 2-Hour Zoo Exploration Tour at the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

• Time: 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
• Description: Explore the Zoo alongside the EdVenture team - from diet preferences to personality traits, no two animals are the same at Cheyenne Mountain Zoo! Join the EdVenture Mentors and learn what makes each of our animals unique! During your exploration, your group will have the opportunity to meet animals up-close, feed our world-famous giraffe herd, and chat with Zoo professionals. General admission to the zoo for the day is included.

Optional Group Activity: Cave of the Winds Tour

• Time: 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Description: An Ideal Family Tour! Explore the electrically lit portion of Cave of the Winds on a 45 – 60-minute guided walking tour which includes 15 rooms, a 1/2 mile of concrete walkways, and 196 stairs. On this family-friendly tour, you will learn about the history and geology of the cave and see some of the most beautiful formations. Optional Group Activity: Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Flight

• Time: 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM
• Description: Fulfill your bucket list with a truly one-of-a-kind experience - soaring above Colorado Springs in a hot air balloon. Please note: Due to insurance requirements, anyone who is pregnant or under the age of 5 years old cannot fly.
